Kwara United Football Club Set to Return to Ilorin Stadium before NPFL Mid-Season

Kwara United Football Club will return to Ilorin Township Stadium before the Nigeria Professional Football League Mid-season.

Secretary General of NPFL Clubs, Alloy Chukwuemeka in an interaction with Newsmen, assured that the rehabilitation and re-grassing of the Ilorin stadium should be completed before the easter celebration in march.

Kwara United hosted CAF Confederations Cup Preliminary matches at the Mobolaji Sports Arena in Lagos due to a lack of approval by CAF for Ilorin stadium, with the NPFL season kicking off this weekend, the state football have adopted the Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba in Ibadan as their home ground pending completion of Ilorin stadium.
