The Kano State Government has unveiled Super Eagles Assistant Coach, Salisu Yusuf as the new Technical Adviser of the State owned Club, Kano Pillars FC.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje represented by his Deputy, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna, unveiled Coach Yusuf yesterday at the Government House in Kano.
Governor Ganduje charged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in developing the team into a continental heavy weight.
Coach Yusuf is making a return to Kano Pillars after eleven years following his appointment as a Technical Adviser in 2010, a move that saw him qualify the club for the CAF Champions League.
The fifty-nine-year-old led Rangers International of Enugu to a seventh place finish in last season’s Nigeria Professional Football League Campaign.
