Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi helped his team move out of the relegation zone after a 5-1 bashing of Brighton at the Amex stadium.
A minute into the game, Dominic Calvert-Lewin combined nicely with Abdoulaye Doucoure to put Everton ahead. Doucoure’s second and an own goal from Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele handed Everton a 3-0 half-time lead.
On resumption, Everton scored two more goals while Brighton scored a consolation goal in the 76th minute.
With the result, Iwobi and Everton have now moved out of the drop zone with three games to go for the Toffees and Sean Dyche, two points ahead of Leicester, Leeds and Nottingham on 30 points.
