Ibom Angels football club of Uyo have been relegated from the Nigerian Women’s Football League after a heavy defeat to FC Robo Queens in a match day 12 encounter in Lagos.
Ibom Angels took the lead in the 11th minute through Afensimi Omon, with FC ROBO QUEENS equalizing two minutes later, before scoring 6 more goals to end the game 7-1.
With the result, Ibom Angels are confirmed relegated from the Nigeria women football league and will be battling for promotion again in the Nigeria women football championship
