The Akwa Ibom State Government will on Wednesday, commence the distribution of palliatives to residents of the State to cushion the effects of the fuel subsidy removal regime of the federal government.
The State Government, in a release by the Ministry of Information, indicates that Governor Umo Eno will flag off the palliatives distribution at Ikot Ekpene Udo in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area and also inaugurate internal roads at the Akpan Andem Market in Uyo to herald his first one hundred days in office.
According to the release, Governor Eno will also undertake the groundbreaking ceremony for A.R.I.S.E City Estate located at Mbierebe Akpawat in Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area.
The event would be capped with a photo exhibition and dinner at the government banquet hall, Uyo.
