Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel says he has redeemed the One Hundred Million Naira welfare package he pledged to widows of the fallen heroes who paid supreme price for Nigeria.
He advised them to put the money to judicious use to mitigate the pain occasioned by the loss of their dear ones and breadwinners in line of duty for their fatherland.
The Governor said this in address presented at this year’s grand finale of Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the State Cenotaph along Udoudoma Avenue, Uyo.
