FG Mourns Victims of Mokwa Flood Disaster, Mobilises Relief Efforts

Federal Government is mourning victims of devastating flood disaster in Mokwa, Niger State, which has claimed several lives and displaced hundreds of families.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed emergency and security agencies to intensify search and rescue operations, prioritising safety and survival of affected residents.

National Emergency Management Agency, in partnership with Nigerian Armed Forces and Niger State Government, is working round the clock to deliver aid and support to those impacted.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, commended first responders and volunteers for their bravery and urged residents to comply with all evacuation orders.

Federal Government extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved, reaffirming its commitment to stand with the affected communities during this difficult time.
