FG Calls Resident Doctors Warning Strike “Unnecessary”, Negotiates with Nigerian Medical Association

Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chris Ngige has called the planned industrial action by aggrieved Resident doctors unnecessary.

Ngige stated this when he briefed journalists after a special Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting.

The Minister said the parent body of the resident doctors which is the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) is already engaging with relevant Government Agencies on the issue.
