Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo, has revealed that the Social Media Platform, Twitter which was banned by the Federal Government in June 2021 has agreed to conditions laid out by the Government.
The Minister, made this known during an interview on a Television Programme, said the committee set up by the Federal Government to review the operations of the micro blogging platform has made significant progress.
According to Keyamo, who is also a member of the Committee, the Federal Government suspended the platform to recalibrate the relationship between the both parties.
It would be recalled that the operations of the platform were suspended in June 5, 2021, for allegedly allowing some contents capable of threatening the corporate existence of the Country.
