Federal Government Recovers $1Billion Looted Funds Since 2015

President Muhamadu Buhari-led administration has recovered one billion dollars of looted funds since 2015.

According to the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the recovered assets were allocated to various sectors of the economy in a bid to alleviate poverty.

Malami, however, stated that the Council has given approval of an Anti-corruption Strategy Document to strengthen anti-graft fighting in the country.
