The Federal Executive Council has approved the sum of 7.84 Billion Naira for projects in the Transportation and Aviation Ministries.
The Minister of Aviation, Senator Hadi Sirika, while briefing State House Reporters, said the Council approved the award of contract for the provision of automated civil aviation regulatory equipment, including software support and training, for the Nnamdi Azikiwe international airport, Abuja.
The Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, said his Ministry secured approval for the provision of training logistics for personnel under the deep blue project.
Amaechi, further noted that the contract was placed under integrated national surveillance and waterways protection solution infrastructure in Nigeria.
