Erling Haaland Shatters Premier League Goal Scoring Record in Man City Win

Date:

Erling Haaland made history in Manchester City’s 3-0 win over West Ham, setting a new Premier League record with 35 goals in a single season.

The victory propelled City back to the top of the table, one point ahead of Arsenal with a game in hand.

Despite a tough first half against an under-manned Hammers side, City found their rhythm after the break, with Haaland scoring his 51st goal of the season in all competitions.

The Norwegian striker played down his achievement, saying he preferred to focus on video games and rest.

City manager Pep Guardiola praised Haaland’s contribution and predicted that the record would be broken again in the future.

The visitors, missing several key players through illness and injury, held out for 50 minutes before conceding to Nathan Ake’s header and Haaland’s deft finish.

The win keeps City on track for the title, while West Ham remain in a relegation battle.
