CONTROVERSIAL ISLAMIC CLERIC WITHDRAWS FROM INTERMEDIARY WITH BETWEEN BANDITS.

An Islamic Cleric, Ahmad Gumi, says he would no longer interface with bandits until the political situation changes.

Gumi who stated this in an interview with Newsmen added that he no longer had anything to do with them since the Federal Government declared them terrorists.

The controversial cleric further said he does not want to expose himself to danger anymore and put a spotlight on himself unnecessarily as he has endangered his life for peace by going to the forest and engaging the bandits.

Gumi said until the political situation in the country changes for better, he could do it again in the interest of peace and harmony.
