Date:

Sequel to Nigeria’s bid to host the prestigious CAF Champions League final, a high-powered CAF delegation arrived Uyo last night to inspect the Nest of Champions and designated hotels and referral hospitals.

The one-day Inspection is billed to start today Sunday 2nd April 2022 at the Nest of Champions by 9am.

Senior Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Sports, Elder Paul Bassey made this disclosure to Journalists in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Officially known as the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium and Nicknamed the Nest of Champions, the prestigious arena has surprisingly been overlooked by the NFF as Venue for National team matches in recent years.

The Group stage of the Competition will be concluded today Sunday 3rd April 2022 with the top two in each group progressing to the next round.
