Buhari Condemns Owo Attack

President Muhammadu Buhari has condemned the gruesome attack on St Francis Catholic Church in Owo which took place on Sunday.

Suspected terrorists were said to have attacked the church on Sunday, leaving many worshippers dead and several others injured in the wake of thier attack.

President Buhari condemned the attack hours later, saying that Nigeria would never succumb to the dictates of evil and wicked people. 

In a statement issued by his media aide, Femi Adesina, the president said, “No matter what, this country shall never give in to evil and wicked people, and darkness will never overcome the light. Nigeria will eventually win.”

The President also maintained that only fiends from the nether region could have conceived and carried out such a horrible act, and added that eternal sorrow awaits them both here and ultimately in the hereafter.
