President Muhammadu Buhari has approved a fresh N656 billion Bridge Financing Facility to the 36 States of the Federation.
Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed made this known at a virtual National Economic Council, (NEC) Meeting presided over by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Minister said that the support was to help State Governments to meet their financial obligations, especially the previous budget support facility due for repayment.
Ahmed who revealed that each State will receive 18.2 Billion naira said that the bridge facility is being processed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
