BREAKING: Atiku’s PDP cancels campaign rally in Rivers

Date:

The Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) has announced the cancellation of the rally of its candidate, Atiku Abubakar, in Port Harcourt.

This was disclosed by the PDP PCC Chairman in Rivers state, Senator Lee Maeba, stating that insecurity is the cause of the cancellation.

”The expected victory of Atiku Abubakar is not worth the blood of any Rivers man or woman.” Senator Maeba stated.

Recall that Atiku has rejected the stadium approved by the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his campaign rally.

The Atiku campaign council lambasted Governor Nyesom Wike, saying the governor could not be trusted, adding that “he wrote to us formally cancelling the approval. We also expect Governor Wike to write and not just stand on a podium during the campaign and make statements that depict a very high level of instability.”
