Thousands of mourners have paid their respects to the late Archbishop of Capetown, Desmond Tutu, at the official State funeral taking place in Cape Town today.
The funeral which is limited to hundred mourners due to Covid-19, is held at the Saint George’s Cathedral.
His daughter Mpho Tutu Van Furth speaks on this day.
Though the Archbishop wished to be buried on a Sunday, his body will be aquamated today Saturday.
Tutu was the first black Archbishop of Cape Town from 1986 to 1996 and died last Sunday at the age of 90.
