The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has arrested a commercial tricycle rider allegedly involved in robbing passengers.
The PPRO in the State, Odiko MacDon stated this when he spoke with our Correspondent, Ama Marcus in his office in Uyo.
According to the Police Public Relations Officer, Odiko Macdon, the police recovered knives, as well as three phones.

Giving his account of the incident, the commercial tricycle rider, Nsikak Okon claimed innocence and reported that he was assaulted when he told his alleged accomplices to desist from robbing passengers.
Recounting the experiences they had while being robbed, the victims mentioned that they were threatened and wounded with a knife.
