Akwa Ibom Government has partnered London Borough of Southwark to support and inspire youths especially in rural areas of the state to attain their full potential.
Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pst Umo Eno made this known Sunday at the All-Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket Local Government Area.
The Governor maintained that children are carriers of blessings and different potentials that require education and exposure to ensure realization. He explained that the reason for the planned exchange programme is to expose the children to the outside world.
The representative of the London Borough of Southwark, Councillor Suzanne Abachor, said the London Borough of Southwark was ready for the partnership and assured that it would be fruitful and beneficial to the children and the state at large.
