The wife of Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Patience Umo Eno, has inaugurated an ultra-modern primary health centre and a mini water scheme at Ikot Ebido Oku, Uyo Local Government Area to cater to the health and hygiene needs of the locals in that area.
Patience Eno lauded the Chairman of Uyo Local Government Council, Uwemedimo Udo for not only fulfilling the promise he made to the people during the last electioneering period but for also interpreting the vision of Governor Umo Eno in health care delivery, which is a component of the ARISE Agenda.
The First Lady advised the workers at the health facility to discharge their duties professionally and also urged the beneficiary community to guard the projects against vandalism.
The Chairman of Uyo Local Government Council, Dr. Uwemedimo Udo, noted that building the ultra-modern Primary Health Center and Mini-water scheme were conceived in response to a passionate appeal by the people of the area for the provision of the infrastructure which was lacking in the area, during the electioneering campaign of Governor Umo Eno.
The Chairman of the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission, Monday Eyoh, Chairman of Uyo Capital City Development Authority, Hon Anietie Ekah, Honorary Special Adviser to the Governor, Otuekong Ekerette Ekpenyong, the Paramount Ruler of Uyo Local Government, Edidem Sylvanus Okon, and other stakeholders, expressed gratitude to Pastor Patience Umo Eno for inaugurating the projects and also expressed their admiration for the Chairman for executing the projects.
