A’IBOM: Gov Eno Declares Zero Tolerance for Underperformance

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno says his administration will ensure optimum performance in the delivery of dividends of democracy to the people of the state. 

Governor Umo Eno who stated this today on day three of Akwa Ibom Dialogue at Ibom Icon and Golf Resort in Uyo, explained that organizing the summit before assigning portfolios to would-be members of his Executive Council, was to provide a comprehensive blueprint that would serve as guide in the delivering of what is needed by the people in different sectors.

The Governor warned that once the timelines are set for delivery in various sectors, excuses for failure would not be tolerated and urged all to bring their best to bear as he intends to adopt a private sector approach in the running of government business to ensure improved welfare for Akwa Ibom people.

Our Correspondent, Emmanuel Silas reports that the Governor vowed to adopt strategies recommended by experts in the policy summit to ensure full implementation of goals packaged in the ARISE AGENDA document for the good of the people and development in the state.
