Tottenham Appoint Thomas Frank as Head Coach on Four-Year Deal

Date:

LONDON — Tottenham Hotspur have named Thomas Frank as their new head coach, handing the 51-year-old Dane a contract that runs until 2028.

Frank joins Spurs after a successful seven-year tenure at Brentford, where he famously led the club from the Championship to Premier League promotion in 2021. His appointment follows the departure of Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed earlier this month despite guiding Tottenham to a UEFA Europa League title in May.

Frank becomes Tottenham’s fourth permanent manager since June 2021 and takes over a side that endured a turbulent Premier League season, finishing 17th with 22 defeats in 38 matches.

His arrival signals a fresh start for the North London club, which will be looking to rebuild under his pragmatic yet progressive management style.
