Uyo, Nigeria – In a remarkable show of support for Nigeria’s World Cup qualification campaign, Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has purchased 30,000 match tickets for fans ahead of Tuesday’s high-stakes encounter between the Super Eagles and Zimbabwe’s Warriors.

Ticket Distribution Centers (Open from 5 PM Monday, March 24):

  • All radio stations in Uyo
  • De Venus Bar & Restaurant, Stadium Road
  • Uyo Township Stadium
  • Ibom Plaza Management Office
  • Previous ticket sales outlets

Tickets are FREE – Do not purchase from anyone
No entry without tickets – Distribution will NOT occur at the stadium
Strict security enforcement – Compliance with FIFA/CAF/NFF regulations mandatory
Orderly conduct required – Fans must follow seating arrangements

Elder Paul Bassey, Akwa Ibom’s Commissioner for Sports, emphasized that the initiative aims to:
