NPFL CHAIRMAN URGES PLAYERS TO BE GOOD AMBASSADORS FOR LEAGUE AHEAD OF CHAN QUALIFIERS

Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League, Honourable Gbenga Elegbeleye, has called on players invited to the home-based Super Eagles camp for the 2025 African Nations Championship qualifier against Ghana to be exemplary representatives of the league.

A total of 30 players were called up by head coach Augustine Eguavoen on Monday for the upcoming qualifier.

In a statement, Honourable Elegbeleye congratulated the selected players and urged them not only to strive for success in the qualifiers but also to aim for victory in the final tournament.

The players are expected to report to the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Wednesday.
