Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Bassey Eno has admonished people seeking leadership positions never to lose the consciousness that power belongs to God and it is he that gives power to whoever he chooses.
Governor Eno gave the admonition at the Eket Field Headquarters of the Apostolic Church Nigeria during the grand finale of the Church 2023 Annual Field Convention.
The Governor announced the appointment of Barrister Samuel Inyang as his Senior Special Assistant on Christian Youths, with a mandate to raise a crop of youths that will chart a new course of morality, integrity, and sincerity in the political landscape of the state.
He also announced his intentions to appoint other Special Assistants for Christian Youths from other denominations to work with the Senior Special Assistant and Coordinate the Christian Youths in the State towards the set goals.
The Eket Field Superintendent of the Apostolic Church Nigerian, Pastor U. S. Ukpong, lauded Governor Umo Eno’s integrity as demonstrated in returning to give thanks in fulfillment of the vow he made before his governorship election.
Ukpong urged the congregants to accept and be filled by the spirit and word of God as an authentication of sonship.
