Super Eagles of Nigeria have beaten Guinea Bissau to maintain their decent run at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon despite making eight changes to the team that beat Egypt and Sudan.
Sadiq Umar opened the scoring shortly after the break, following a cross from Kelechi Iheanacho and in the 75th minute, Captain Troost-Ekong sealed the win after tapping into an empty net following a dazzling run from Moses Simon.
The Three Time African Champions will have to wait to find out which of the best third-placed team they will face in the Round of 16 from either Group B, E OR E when the final round of group matches are completed today.
The win against Guinea-Bissau means Super Eagles become the only team to win all their group matches.
