PRESIDENT MUHAMMEDU BUHARI DECLEAR SAFE SCHOOL CONFERENCE OPEN TUESDAY

The 4th International Conference on Safe Schools Declaration billed to hold on Tuesday, will be declared open by Nigeria’s President, Muhammedu Buhari.

 

In a statement signed by the Director of Media, Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Goong, the conference which is being co-hosted by Nigeria, Spain, Norway and Argentina, is aimed at reviewing progress being made by member states in the quest to make schools safer globally.

 

The conference which Nigeria is hosting for the first time in Africa will take place at the Economic Community for West African States (ECOWAS) Secretariat in Abuja in person, and virtual participation is expected from around the world.
