It appears like Nigerians may fall back on the primitive method of using firewood to cook their meals because of the price of cooking gas which has recently skyrocketed, causing untold hardship to many families.
Sharing views with Passion FM Correspondent, Dora Ndem, the residents expressed dissatisfaction over the hike in the price of cooking gas which before now was affordable to low-income consumers.
They have however called on relevant authorities to regulate the price of this essential product to enable people to access the products at a reasonable rate.
You would recall that the price of cooking gas overtime stood at three hundred naira to four hundred naira a kilogram before it recently surged to seven hundred naira and eight hundred naira per kilogram.
