The International coordinator, Rally for Alternative Leadership, Ubon Akpan, has called on the Akwa Ibom State government to streamline the security architecture of the state.
Ubon Akpan, while interacting with our correspondent, Theophilus Udo, who was bothered about excesses of those involved in scavenging metal in and around the state, regretted that even those residing along with Willington Bassey way in Uyo are no longer safe.
Akpan hinted that the people involved in the business take advantage of residents to invade people’s property and cart away valuables in the pretext of scavenging.
Akpan, while calling on the residents of the state to be vigilant, urged the state governor, Udom Emmanuel, to update Akwa Ibom people on the true state of the Closed Circuit Television Camera the state government acquired to monitor security breaches in the state.
