Still on Anambra elections, Following the outcome of election security threat analysis conducted by the Police Intelligence Bureau, the Inspector General of Police Usman Baba, has announced that 34,587 operatives would be deployed for the Anambra’s Nov. 6 governorship election.
Baba made the declaration on Thursday in Abuja at a meeting with police officers from the rank of Commissioner and above.
He assured that the Force is committed to partnering with INEC to deliver a credible election in Anambra.
