The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress has tackled the opposition People’s Democratic Party for offering the Lagos Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu governorship ticket for the oncoming 2023 gubernatorial election.
This was revealed to newsmen by the former Spokesperson of the PDP, Ganiu Taofik who said the party was ready to receive Sanwo-Olu ahead of the 2023 governorship election of Lagos state.
Describing the offer, the APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo calls it a “Greek gift”.
He listed the activities performed by Sanwo-Olu and how he is endeared by the masses of Lagos State, as well as the officials of the APC.
Oladejo said, “The platform that initially elected Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, having acknowledged his glowing performance across various sectors in his first term, is certainly still available to recontest for another term”
He also admonished the State Governor to remain focused and undistracted from the heavy task of finishing strongly and fulfilling his part of the social contract with the good people of Lagos State.
