Nigeria’s representative in the CAF Confederations Cup, Rivers United have arrived in Yamoussoukro ahead of the final crucial group match against ASEC MIMOSA this weekend.
The team under coach Stanley Eguma departed the country this morning and then touched down at the Félix Houphouët Boigny International Airport in Abidjan, Côte D’Ivoire, before proceeding on a road trip to Yamoussoukro the venue for the game.
Meanwhile, CAF has appointed Benin Republic Djindo Louis Houngnandandé as the center referee for the crucial game, with Eric Ayimavo and Lucien Hontonnou his assistants. Daniel Luc Kassa is the fourth official of the match.
