REMO STARS RECLAIM TOP SPOT IN NIGERIA PREMIER FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Remo Stars have returned to the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League, pending the conclusion of matchday 8 fixtures later tonight.

The Ikenne-based team secured a one-nil victory against Bendel Insurance on Sunday, thanks to a goal from Ghanaian forward Dela Akorki just before halftime.

In another match, Ahmed Musa continued his impressive performance for Kano Pillars, providing an assist in the team’s one-one home draw against Kwara United.

Additional Sunday fixtures saw Sunshine Stars defeat Nasarawa United one- zero, Abia Warriors triumph over Plateau United three -one, while Heartland narrowly lost one-nil to Bayelsa United.
