PVCs, Ballot Boxes Destroyed as Fire Guts INEC Office in Ebonyi

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has revealed that not less than 340 ballot boxes, 140 voting cubicles and unspecified number of Permanent Voters Card (PVC) have been destroyed following the attack on the facility in Ebonyi State by some hoodlums.

The National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, Confirmed that the INEC office located at Iboko in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State was set ablaze by unidentified persons.
