President Tinubu Pledges To Tackle Challenges For Nigerian Students Abroad

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged to address the challenges facing Nigerian students studying abroad.

The President stated this while speaking at the fourth diaspora quarterly webinar lecture series, organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

President Tinubu represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Student Engagement, Hon. Asefon Sunday Dayo, and other key officials reassured students of the government’s commitment to their well-being in line with his citizen diplomacy policy.

Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa reiterated NIDCOM’S dedication to supporting Nigerian students abroad within its mandate, ensuring their welfare is prioritised.

JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede advised students and parents to be vigilant against fake and unaccredited universities abroad, emphasising the importance of thorough research before enrolment.
