President of the Senate, Senator Akpabio Urges China to enhance Bilateral Cooperation with Nigeria

The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has called on the Chinese government to continue with its friendly relations with Nigeria, especially in trade and infrastructure.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Special Assistant on Media/Communication to the Senate President, Mr. Anietie Ekong, during a Courtesy Visit by the Charge D’affaires of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Zhang Yi, in Abuja

The Senate President assured the Chinese Government that Nigeria will continue to partner with them to improve its infrastructure and trade relations.

Mr. Zgang Yi sought the cooperation of the Nigerian parliament to promote bilateral relations between the parliaments of both countries.
