Away from that: President Muhammadu Buhari has lauded Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for opening his country’s borders to accommodate millions of refugees in dire need of humanitarian support.
Buhari, who spoke at a joint conference in Abuja, said Erdogan has set an example to the rest of the world on how to treat refugees.
This was made known in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina titled, ‘Erdogan, an Exemplar to the World on How to Treat Refugees with Generosity.’
Meanwhile, both countries reviewed the travel ban list based on the revised COVID-19 protocols and removed Turkey from Nigeria’s Travel Ban List.
