Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, has stated that the Nigeria Premier Football League has the potential to play a pivotal role in strengthening the country’s sporting economy.
Mallam Dikko made the remarks while addressing a delegation of NPFL Club Owners who paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
Expressing his appreciation for the visit, Mallam Dikko emphasized the importance of unity and collective responsibility in advancing Nigerian sports, particularly the football league.
In response, the Chairman of the NPFL Club Owners Forum, Chief Okey Kpalukwu, advised that the NSC prioritize sports infrastructure and grassroots development initiatives to further the growth of Nigerian sports.
