NPFL: ISAAC SAVIOUR’S LATE GOAL LIFTS RANGERS TO WIN AGAINST BAYELSA UNITED

Date:

Defending champions Rangers International of Enugu returned to winning form in the Nigeria Premier Football League with a one-nil victory over Bayelsa United.

Substitute Isaac Saviour netted the decisive goal, striking from inside the box 20 minutes before the final whistle.

This marked the forward’s first goal of the season for the Flying Antelopes, who bounced back after last weekend’s 2-1 defeat to Remo Stars in Ikenne.

With this victory, Rangers moved up to seventh place in the league standings. They will host Abia Warriors in an oriental derby on Sunday.
