NEW NSC CHAIRMAN ENGAGES FINANCE MINISTER ON SPORTS ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT

Newly appointed chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun.

During their meeting, Mallam Dikko and Mr. Edun discussed various initiatives aimed at developing a sustainable sports economy in Nigeria as directed by President Bola Tinubu.

Mallam Dikko underscored the significance of sports as a viable economic driver and explored ways to better leverage Nigeria’s vast potential in this sector.

In a related development, the Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, Honourable Kabiru Amadu, has reiterated the House of Representatives’ commitment to fostering an environment conducive for the new National Sports Commission to thrive.

Honourable Amadu made this statement during a meeting with NSC Chairman Mallam Shehu Dikko in his office.
