National Security Adviser Hands Over 59 Kidnap Victims to Kaduna State Government

The National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, has handed over fifty-nine kidnap victims to the Kaduna State Government. The victims, who were abducted from various parts of Kaduna State, were rescued along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway and handed over in Abuja.

The group includes twenty-eight women, twenty-four men, and six children. One of the victims is reportedly in critical condition and has been rushed to a medical facility for urgent care.

Speaking to reporters after the handover, Mallam Ribadu reaffirmed the Federal Government’s commitment to rescuing other hostages still in captivity. He emphasized the government’s determination to combat kidnapping and other security challenges, ensuring the safety and security of all citizens.

The handover underscores the ongoing efforts of security agencies to address the menace of kidnapping and restore peace in affected regions.
