MEDIA PRACTICE IN NIGERIA

Date:

The Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Amos Etuk says journalism practice in Nigeria has not been given prominence and acceptance at the national level.
Speaking with ABN Correspondent, Edafe Nelly in Uyo, Etuk said while journalists are facing challenges in the discharge of their duties at all levels, he said those practicing in Akwa Ibom State have been fairly treated.
He further listed some of the hindrances journalists encounter in the course of their duties.
You would recall that the Akwa Ibom State NUJ just concluded its 2021 press week with Passion 94.5FM being awarded the best broadcast station of the year 2021.
