Away from the prison attack, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has warned that no youth should lose his or her life defending any politician.
Oyo governor gave the warning while speaking during the wedding ceremony of the son of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose in Lagos on Saturday.
Makinde warned Nigerians against carrying arms in defence of any politician, stressing that those who intend to die because of politicians should have a change of mind.
He also cautioned against politics of bitterness, noting that the presence of the Chairman, Nigerian Governors’ Forum and present Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi and erstwhile governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni at the wedding, should serve as a lesson to Nigerians.
