Education Minister Unveils Universal Basic Education Commission for Enhanced Learning Experience

Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, has unveiled the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) digital resource centre, aimed at providing a smart learning environment for students and teachers.

Prof. Mamman while speaking at the unveiling ceremony in Abuja noted that the centre is unparalleled globally and emphasized the importance of developing digital technology in education, especially as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration focuses on building vocational institutions nationwide.

Prof. Mamman assured efforts will be made to ensure timely upgrading of the center to maintain high-quality delivery.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Senate Committee on Education, Senator Lawal Adamu commended the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC) for the initiative, noting its importance for global development.
