Davido purchases another Car worth N171,000,000 after O2 Arena Concert

Date:

Popular Nigerian Singer, David Adeleke, also known by the stage name Davido, has gifted himself a new Mercedes Benz Maybach 2022 SUV.

This comes a few days after his successful sold-out O2 Arena concert, held in London last weekend.

The award-winning artist took to his Instagram to share a video, announcing the purchase of the new car on Monday.

After a successful show in London, at the O2, Davido who is still expecting his brand-new Lamborghini to touch down in Nigeria from Dubai bought another truck. This time, it is the 2022 MERCEDEZ MAYBACH GLS 600.

This truck is worth $300,000 (N171,000,000).

Davido captioned the video of the black Sport Utility Vehicle, “Who Vex Me”.

Recall that the famous hip-hop artiste had declared his 2022 goals via his verified Twitter handle saying: “I’m buying five more cars, a private jet and three new houses in 2022.”

Meanwhile, a netizen identified as Marvin Abbey had said on Twitter that Davido may be fined £340,000 (N190m) after surpassing the 11 pm 02 Arena curfew.

According to the Twitter user, for every minute you go past 11pm at the arena, you have to pay £10,000.

He wrote: “Davido was supposed to finish his concert at the O2 @ 11pm. The O2 have a strict 11pm curfew. For every minute you go past 11pm you have to pay £10,000. Davido said he don’t care. He finished the concert at 23:34. That’s £340,000 fine. Mental!”

“For all the people saying I’m lying about the Davido tweet. The O2 curfew is nothing new. Read up on it, I don’t have time to argue. The Rolling Stones & Justin Bieber have also been fined in the past. It’s actually Greenwich council that issue the fine.”
