Gonzalo Garcia’s third goal of the tournament sealed Madrid’s win at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, setting up a blockbuster clash with fellow European powerhouse Borussia Dortmund. The German side edged past Sergio Ramos’s Monterrey in Atlanta, with Serhou Guirassy scoring twice to deny Ramos a reunion with his former club.
Madrid’s triumph also marked the return of Kylian Mbappé, who came on as a substitute after recovering from illness. The team, under Xabi Alonso, remains unbeaten in the competition.
