Buhari Appoints Dr Adamu Tutuwa as FIIRO Director General

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Dr. Mrs. Jummai Adamu Tutuwa as the substantive Director-General of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research, Oshodi (FIIRO), Lagos, with effect from 10th May 2022.

This was contained in a statement issued by the Deputy Director, Press and Public Relations Unit, Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, Mr. Atoura Obed Obiora.

The statement also explained that Dr. Tutuwa takes over from Dr. Mrs. Agnes E. Asagbra, who was saddled with the Management of FIIRO from February 2020 to date.

Prior to her appointment, Dr. Tutuwa was the Director in charge of the Biotechnology Centre at the National Biotechnology Development Agency (NABDA), Jalingo, Taraba State.
