BAYER LEVERKUSEN CONFIRMS VICTOR BONIFACE ESCAPES MAJOR INJURY AFTER CAR CRASH

Date:

German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen have confirmed that Victor Boniface did not suffer a major injury after being involved in a serious car crash on Sunday.

Boniface was en route to the airport to pick up friends when the incident occurred, resulting in his vehicle colliding with an oncoming truck.

Leverkusen informed German media that Boniface is doing well and only sustained two minor injuries to his hand.

The 23-year-old striker had a successful outing in Bayer Leverkusen’s 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt last Saturday.

He scored the winning goal 18 minutes from the end after having previously missed a penalty.
