Ahead of the forthcoming 2023 general elections, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed a new date for screening its presidential aspirants.
National Organising Secretary of the party, Suleiman Argungu, made the announcement on Monday in Abuja.
He said the party would screen the 28 presidential aspirants who obtained forms on Tuesday, May 24th, and Wednesday, May 25th at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja.
APC had earlier postponed the screening exercise for the second time on Sunday after it failed to hold last weekend, without disclosing a reason for the postponement but are quite optimistic about this new schedule.
Notable aspirants that have submitted their forms include former Minister of Niger Delta Development, Sen. Godswill Akpabio; Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo; and APC National Leader, Bola Tinubu.
